Work At Home Job Opportunities

The real work at home jobs don’t say work at home!  Don’t search for them by those key words.  Forget about those weird web sites that pay you to take surveys, stuff envelops, sign up for free trials, etc. Just search for the type of work you do and inquire about options to work remotely.

Your Current Job

Don’t be shy about asking for reasonable accommodations.

Ask about telecommuting options.  That's the official term for working at your home (remotely) for an employer. Telecommuting is a growing trend. There are many advantages for your employer and for society as a whole. Many large employers are aware of this. Many government agencies are now being required to offer telecommuting options where feasible.

Running A Business From Home

Running a business from your home is another option.  Many of us that can work do this.  It helps if you have some skill at computers.  Don’t be intimidated by computers.  Software companies design their programs and operating systems so that they are easy to use.
