Allergies - MCS . Com : Allergy and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Information

Treatments

First, avoidance is the best strategy. We all want a cure for allergies and MCS. I am not aware of anything that is 100% effective at curing either however I must say I have had excellent results at controlling my allergies and MCS with the treatments listed below - and other are too. If you know something that works and your legitimate, please let me know so I can post it here.

Beware!

If you are not legitimate, beware. I am an established consumer advocate. I'm the last person you want to contact if you're not on the level.

Treatments for Allergies

I personally have found Zyrtec to be very effective. I do not get drowsy from it. I can't get by without it. I have to take a 10 mg tablet daily. Zyrtec is now available over-the-counter in the U.S. and Canada.

Treatments for MCS

I'm personally began on Dr. Pall's over-the-counter treatment protocol recently. I have had excellent results. I am reaction free! I am more rested, more calm. I have not had any difficulties tolerating any of the supplement components. Others are also reporting excellent results.

Dr. Pall and Dr. Ziem also have a treatment protocol that can be followed under a doctor's supervision. People are emailing me reporting they are having good results with this too.

Anyone with experience with these treatment protocols or any other, please email me any information you have.

TenthParadigmSociety Yahoo Group

There is a Yahoo group for discussing Dr. Pall's treatment protocols. It is at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/TenthParadigmSociety/.

A while back I started topics on:
Seeking MCS Doctor in North Houston/Conroe Texas Area
Using the Ziem/Pall Protocol Without a Doctor
Budgeting for the Ziem/Pall Treatment Protocol
Reasonable Time Frame Expectations of Ziem/Pall Treatment Protocol

What I just ordered for the Ziem/Pall Protocol… Did I get it right?

Using the Dr. Pall's Protocol Without a Doctor

I found an article called Nitric Oxide Cycle Theory: Will It Explain
CFS, FM, and Other `Unexplained' Illnesses? - Q&A with Martin L. Pall,
PhD, wherein Dr. Pall states "... I have designed [working with a leading
supplement research company] an approach to down-regulating the NO/ONOO-
cycle biochemistry that involves only over-the-counter supplements."

The article is at http://www.immunesupport.com/library/showarticle.cfm?id=8071

and the over-the-counter supplements themselves are described at
http://www.immunesupport.com/library/showarticle.cfm?id=8075&T=CFIDS_FM

A newer product than the flavonoids is now available called FibroBoost.  I got it too. See http://www.nutricology.com/FibroBoost-75-Veg-Caps-p-16652.html.

For Glutathione, someone posted having success with a sublingual complex I got that too.  See http://www.sourcenaturals.com/products/GP1141/.

For extra B12 (hydroxycobalamin) I ordered some sublingual lozenges. See below.

In March 2008, Dr. Pall added Buffered Vitamin C with magnesium to his over the counter treatment protocol. He stated that the magnesium is as important as the Vitamin C. See the next section for the specific product he recommends. He recommends taking one pill, four times per day.

Here is what I ordered.  Total cost was about $215:
